'Homeland' Season 5 News, Spoilers: Carrie Revisits Her Past As It Comes To Haunt Her

Just about when Carrie Mathison learned to love her new life in the newest season of Showtime's hit political thriller series "Homeland," her past is now slowly creeping back to haunt her. In fact, this week's episode is expected to see Carrie taking the matters on her own hands to find out who is really after her.

Citing the spoiler report from International Business Times for the episode titled "Super Powers," it is said that Carrie and her boyfriend, Jonas, will both "revisit her past" together.

The promo for the episode saw Carrie telling Jonas that she thought everything has already been left behind. Apparently, she's wrong to think of it.

Jonas then asks the former CIA operative about her next move. Carrie reveals that she will compose a list of the names of enemies she suspected to be a threat. Her boyfriend thinks otherwise, telling her further that it could be next to impossible.

"There are hundreds of names here," he told Carrie in the video (via IBT). "All civilians, killed by drones."

Carrie may not have to look far for who she thinks is after her. According to the media outlet, she may - at this time - have to first defend herself against someone who was very close to her in the past. Citing the details dropped at the second episode of Season 5, it was revealed that Quinn has already received the name of his next target and viewers were quick to deduce that it could be Carrie.

The teaser for Episode 3 further divulged the detail that Quinn could, after all, be on the hunt for his almost lover in Berlin. Near the end of the video, Carrie can be seen using the cover of the night as she also stalks the one who is hunting her.

Find out how these events unfold when "Homeland" Season 5 airs this Sunday, Oct. 18, at 9 p.m. on Showtime.
