'Homeland' Season 6 Episode 10: Dar Adal Falls Into Keane's Trap
The trap to take down Dar Adal (F. Murray Abraham) is set in the upcoming episode of "Homeland." Will everything work according to President Keane's (Elizabeth Marvel) plans?
In the episode titled "The Flag House," the promo shows the president-elect telling the Black Ops director that she is sending him to jail. Keane and Carrie (Claire Danes) finally have enough evidence to pin the crimes concerning Farhad Nafisi (Bernard White), Javadi (Shaun Toub) and Sekou (J. Mallory McCree) on him. Keane told Carrie she just has to testify about what happened in Berlin and they will have Dar locked up for good. Unfortunately, Dar looks like he still has something to bargain with. At the latter part of the clip, Keane is shown asking him if he is threatening her. What kind of desperate measure is Dar planning?
Meanwhile, the promo shows that Carrie has agreed to Keane's advice that she needs to talk about the Berlin incident to the authorities. Last episode, she expressed her doubts about testifying. Revealing Dar's evil deeds means blowing the whistle on Saul (Mandy Patinkin) as well. Viewers can remember that Saul's girlfriend, Allison (Miranda Otto), used him. She was a Russian spy and Saul realized too late what she was. The damage was done by then. In the end, he was the one who took out Allison. When Carrie told Saul about Keane's suggestion, he was adamantly against it.
According to Saul, if Carrie reveals the truth, he can kiss his career goodbye. Keane assured Carrie that Saul would receive a presidential pardon after so she should not be worried. It looks like he has given her his permission, though. In the promo, he is shown preparing to leave the country and go off the radar. Saul looks like he will not wait for the government to capture him. He prefers to run and hide while the investigation against Dar is ongoing.
"Homeland" season 6 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EDT on Showtime.
