Some areas that could previously become problematic whenever players traveled across them have been adjusted as well.

Speaking of areas, prior to the release of this latest game patch, it was apparently possible for some players to reach places that were not supposed to be accessible to them. They may no longer be able to enter those restricted areas now, but there is still a huge open world for them to explore.

There are also some weapon-related fixes included in the latest "Horizon Zero Dawn" patch.

One of these fixes makes sure that Heavy Weapons will not get stuck on Aloy, while another ensures that the game's protagonist will no longer reach for a spear instead of a trap, as players intended.

Patch 1.12 also gets rid of some bugs that players could trigger whenever they used fast travel, and there were also other problematic ones that could have caused crashes that have been taken out.

Numerous bugs related to specific quests have also been addressed by Patch 1.12.

Developers have continually urged players to provide feedback with regards to what other improvements they want to see, and it appears that one suggestion has the support of many Redditors.

In the comments section, Redditor "jonnique" expressed a desire to see a New Game Plus feature introduced to the game. At this point, it is unclear if such a feature will indeed be added, but it may be something to keep an eye on.

More news about "Horizon Zero Dawn" should be made available in the near future.
