'House of Cards' Season 4 Spoilers: New Power Couple? Trailer Coming by December

"House of Cards," the hit political drama on Netflix, has already started production for its next season, Season 4. The drama is set to air some time in 2016. With no definite release date, the rumor mill has been churning out speculations and rumors about what is going to happen in the next season.

Season 3 ended with the show's power couple U.S. President Frank Underwood and First Lady Claire Underwood in the brink of breaking up. One of the themes that the next season might tackle is the state of the relationship between the two main characters. This may, however, go both ways, meaning it can show more intense political competition between the two, or it can also show the possibility of them coming together again.

A Deadline report said Neve Campbell is joining the show's cast as a regular member. Although the report failed to mention what role she will play, there is a rumor that she may play half of a new power couple who will possibly be playing a major role in the political scene. Some reports are saying that they may be pitted against the show's original power couple.

Another rumor is about the "killing off" of one of the main characters in the show. The character in question is Doug Stamper, the President's Chief of Staff. Stamper is played by Michael Kelly. Although this possibility was denied by the show creator Beau Willimon, when he told Kelly, "Come on, I'm not getting rid of you," Kelly still doubts this because the show is unpredictable and therefore major characters can be terminated.

Another report on Master Herald is talking about a mini-trailer for the series that will reportedly be coming out in December, which will give the fans a peek into what's in store for them in the next season. Aside from this mini-trailer, the report also said that the main trailer for the show will be shown in February 2016. These dates however are unconfirmed so far.
