However, Frank is not the only one who is suspected to die in the new season of "House of Cards." There were previous reports hinting that Doug Smaller will also be killed off in season 4. It was rumored that Frank will be the one ordering his death since he knows too much.

There are also speculations that Frank could beat Claire to the punch and have her killed. With that, it is evident that these major characters are not safe in the episodes to come.

While these are all probable happenings for the new season, there is also a chance that Claire and Frank could be reunited. The creator of the series, Beau Willimon, shared details about their dynamics in the upcoming season during an interview with Pop Sugar.

He said, "A lot of the strength of the show is based on the strength of that marriage. But as soon as we began to explore that, we realized there was no turning back... We also realized we'd laid the groundwork in the previous two seasons for this conflict between Francis and Claire, and the more we began exploring it, the more inevitable it became. And the more exciting it was for us to travel that emotional terrain."

While there has yet to be any official announcement regarding the release of "House of Cards" season 4, it was said that the release date could be scheduled in a way that parallels with real-time elections in the United States and the fictional elections in the series.

With that, "House of Cards" season 4 will premiere sometime next year.
