Even though Season 4 of "House of Cards" had just been released on Netflix, there is already much excitement for Season 5. It can be expected that the fifth season of "House of Cards" will coincide with the ongoing presidental elections in the United States, which will make for an interesting season ahead. Along with that, one of the show's stars Michael Kelly, hinted that his character's future is still questionable.
Kelly plays the role of Doug Stamper, the Chief of Staff, who has gone through several obstacles throughout the duration of the series.

After all the challenges he faced, fans still saw him loyal to Frank Underwood, the cahracter played by Kevin Spacey. However, Kelly explained to Indie Wire that it is likely for his character to be killed off in the upcoming season.
Nevertheless, he explained that he find honor in portraying the role of Doug. He said, "Hands down, the greatest gift I have ever been given as actor. Here's a total gem: I get to play this guy and say these words. To know that I love going to work every day... after four years! It's the greatest job I've ever had."
He also took the moment to appreciate the creator of the series, Beau Willimon. He said "Beau Willimon is a genius writer and friend with a tireless work ethic. He looks like hell at the end of the season. You can't drink that much coffee and not sleep. "With a leader like that, you can't complain about anything."
