This is already the third meeting the Rockets and Mavericks have had this year and they are scheduled to face-off one more time before the regular season ends.
So far, they split the first two games and this third battle decides who gets the lead in the season series.
In the first game, played at the Toyota Center, the Mavericks got a big 110-98 victory as the Mavericks took advantage of a big night from Raymond Felton who scored 23 points in a surprise performance.
It helped the Mavericks get the win that overshadowed James Harden's double-double of 25 points and 10 assists for the Rockets.
However, the Rockets did get their revenge when they played at Dallas as they won a close contest, 100-96.
Harden had another stellar performance with 25 points, eight rebounds and nine assists to battle Dirk Nowitzki's 16 points and 10 rebounds.
