Houston Rockets vs Denver Nuggets Live Stream, Start Time: Watch Online NBA Basketball 2015
On March 19, 2015, the Houston Rockets host the Denver Nuggets at Toyota Center as the NBA regular season continues. Tip-off is at 8 p.m. ET.
Winners of their last two, the Rockets outlasted the Los Angeles Clippers 100-98 before dominating the Orlando Magic at home 107-94.
This was Houston's seventh win in their last eight matches as hosts.
And the win has improved their record to 45-22, good for fourth in the tough Western Conference division – stretching their lead over the Clippers, who are fifth, to 2.5 games.
In their recent win, James Harden put on an impressive showing with 17 points and eight rebounds, despite only shooting 4-of-14 from the field. It was Lithuanian Donatas Motiejunas who led the team in scoring with 23. The 24 year old shot 8-of-12 from the field and also grabbed seven rebounds in only a little over 32 minutes on the court.
For the Nuggets, they had their four-game winning streak snapped in a 92-81 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. Denver racked off impressive wins over top-notch opponents as they beat the Atlanta Hawks and the Golden State Warriors in their run, but they could not contend with the size and strength of the Grizzlies.
The Nuggets played without Ty Lawson and Kenneth Faried but got their boost from veteran guard Jameer Nelson. He scored 24 points while shooting 61 percent from the field. Randy Foye added 16 in the loss.
Houston and Denver have played three times this season, with the Rockets winning their first three.
Two of those three have ended in double-digit leads except for an overtime win for the Rockets at the Toyota Center.
In those three contests, Harden has averaged 31 points per game. He also averages 20 field goal attempts per game, converting on 43 percent of his shots.
