And in this clash between two strong teams, expect both squads to try and get a win over the other.

The Thunder are back and are trying to regain their status as one of the best teams in the league.

In their first match of the season, they made a statement by beating the San Antonio Spurs in another heavyweight battle in the West.

Next up were the feisty Orlando Magic and Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant exploded as they both scored over 40 points each to edge out the young Magic squad in double overtime.

With their first two matches ending up close, the Thunder displayed that they can blow out teams as well as they thrashed the Denver Nuggets in their last game.

Now this makes for a great date with the Rockets as the Thunder are definitely rolling.

Meanwhile, the Rockets seem to be lacking the punch they need to get wins.

They were expected to do well this season especially after adding key players to the line-up to finally help them get over the hump they failed with in last year's playoffs.

However, James Harden has clearly struggled with shooting and things do not seem right with the Rockets.

They lost to the Denver Nuggets, Golden State Warriors and the Miami Heat in their first three games.

Particularly in the last match against the Heat, the Rockets had a big lead in the match and blew it away to lose to Miami.

Now they have a chance to get a win over another strong team in the league.
