US Presidential Polls Latest 2015: Hillary Clinton Ahead of Donald Trump When Compared Head to Head
The U.S. presidential race is becoming more intense day by day. Over recent months, there have been two frontrunners battling head-to-head — Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. However, according to some polls, when compared side by side Trump is shown losing out to Clinton in terms of voters.
Trump has been the center of various controversial statements over recent months, and they have generally not seen a big dip in his polling figures. However, Clinton had previously had a stagnant few months of her campaign, but recently experienced a surge of support thanks to her strong Democratic debate performance, as well as her assured appearance in front of the Benghazi hearing.
Despite being under scrutiny in Libya, Clinton has proven herself to some as capable of withstanding the pressure. She was unrattled after the congressional committees' 11-hour interrogation about the death of four Americans in the Benghazi attacks in Libya.
However, Trump, at the end of the day, still believes that Clinton's record may prove to be her ultimate enemy, as he is quoted saying, "She can be easily beaten by her record. Libya is a catastrophe. Libya is a disaster. Iraq is a disaster. Syria is a disaster. The whole Middle East. It all blew up around Hillary Clinton and around Obama. It blew up."
With still a long way to go until the 2016 elections a lot is sure to change in the coming months.
