'How To Get Away With Murder' Season 2 Premiere Date, Cast News & Spoilers: New characters will be added

Rebecca to return to show in flashbacks

It's September already, which means Season 2 of "How To Get Away With Murder" is fast approaching and fans couldn't be more excited for the return of professor of defense law, Annalise Keating (Viola Davis), and her best law students. The show has a lot in store for the fans beginning with the fate of Rebecca Sutter (Katie Findlay).

It can be recalled from the previous season that Rebecca was surprisingly killed off. In the upcoming second season, she will be back, not from the grave, but through a series of flashbacks. According to Design & Trend, executive producer Pete Nowalk confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that fans will be seeing Rebecca's face once again. This also means that her killer will be revealed very soon and the mystery of her death will finally be resolved. Surely, fans are dying to know who it is already but they will not need to wait too long because it will all be unveiled in the season premiere. Yes, it's that soon!

Nowalk also shared that Rebecca's death is something that will be remembered on the show, the same way it is for Sam Keating's (Tom Verica) and Lila Stangard's (Megan West) murders. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he said, "The same is going to happen with Rebecca. Some people will know she's dead; some people will know who killed her, some people will think she's missing." He also added that Rebecca's character plays an important part in the second installment of the show even though she's already dead.
