'How to Get Away With Murder' Season 3 Episode 14: Laurel Digs Deep Into the Mahoney Conspira
Laurel (Karla Souza) will continue her secret probe to find Wes' (Alfred Enoch) killer in the upcoming episode of "How to Get Away with Murder."
In the episode titled "He Made A Terrible Mistake," the promo shows the alliance of the Keating 4 starting to crumble as new information comes to light about Wes' death. Last episode, Laurel found out that days before her boyfriend was killed, the Mahoneys ordered a DNA test for Wes. The revelation changes everything, as it is possible that the family may be behind the crime all along. If the Mahoneys found out that Wes was truly Wallace's (Adam Arkin) son, they have the motive to kill him. Frank's (Charlie Weber) confession that he was the killer may just be a major cover up for a bigger conspiracy.
Even though the police are satisfied with the way the investigation is going, Laurel still hired a private investigator to do more digging. What she found out about the Mahoneys shocked her. Laurel has never doubted that her ex-boyfriend is innocent. She cannot understand what pushed Frank to admit something like that. Bonnie (Liza Weil), on the other hand, is not fully convinced that Frank is not guilty.

In a recent interview, Weber said that everyone has a reason to doubt his character, considering his past deeds.
"Frank's earned a certain reputation. The audience has a real love-hate thing with Frank, and I totally get it. If you look at his history, and the people that he's killed, it's always been to protect someone he loves. That's not necessarily an excuse, but he has this very big, misguided heart, and it's cost a few people their lives. For me, it doesn't seem that [killing Wes] fits. But you really never know with our show," Weber said in a TVLine interview.
"How to Get Away with Murder" season 3 will air Thursday at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
