'How To Get Away With Murder' Season 4 Episode 5 Spoilers: Frank Has An Axe to Grind with Laurel

Frank (Charlie Weber) has a loaded question for Laurel (Karla Souza) in the upcoming episode of "How to Get Away with Murder."

In the episode titled "I Love Her," the promo shows Frank asking Laurel if she is sure he is not the father of the baby. From the start, Laurel has claimed that it was Wes (Alfred Enoch) who got her pregnant. It was not that difficult to believe, considering that they were in a relationship before he died. In the last episode, though, it was revealed that she has had Frank on the side and that he might be her baby's dad.

The clip shows the two kissing passionately. Then Frank questions Laurel if the baby is not his. Her expression shows her shock upon hearing his words. While some viewers want to believe that Laurel remained faithful to Wes, it is not too difficult to picture her running back to Frank's arms when she got an opportunity. The two have always had a tumultuous relationship, but Laurel could never leave Frank for long and vice versa.

If Frank does turn out to be the baby's father, the question on why Jorge (Esai Morales) sent Dominic (Nicholas Gonzalez) to kill Laurel's former boyfriend becomes even more difficult to answer. A man like Laurel's father will know exactly what has been happening with his daughter. Her trysts with Frank will not go unnoticed. Meanwhile, Souza recently told Deadline that the rest of the season would focus on the search for her character's missing kid.

"Last season the hashtag was #WhoKilledWes. I think [this season] it'll be #WhereIsTheBaby. As in past seasons, it's just a piece of the puzzle," Souza said. "There's so much more to how Jimmy Smits' character and Frank are there and little by little we're going to find out more about what happened that night... the baby is definitely going to be at the center of it all."

"How to Get Away with Murder" season 4 airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
