'How to Train Your Dragon 3' Rumors: Drago Gets Toothless on His Side?

Following the success of the two movies in the "How to Train Your Dragon" franchise, a third movie is now in the works, and one of the most heartbreaking speculations that has ever been made about the installment is that Toothless will move to Drago's side and the two will team up against Hiccup.

Director Dean DeBlois confirmed earlier this year that Drago will definitely be back since he wasn't completely destroyed in the sequel. He also said that fans will need to wait for the third installment to see what plot the team has prepared for Drago, as he is said to be much more complicated than he ever was.

It was also rumored in the past months that Drago will take a new villain with him to attack the Vikings of Berk. While it is unclear if Toothless will indeed have a conflict with Hiccup in the third film, a battle between the two will surely break the hearts of fans who followed their story and saw the loyalty they both had for each other.

One of the rumors that has become a hit among fans is that a second Night Fury will enter the picture. Since it is just a speculation, it is unclear if a second Night Fury will either destroy Toothless or become his love interest — the latter is a more reasonable theory since it would be nice to see someone who stands beside Toothless through it all just as Astrid does for Hiccup.

Meanwhile, the rumors continue to add up as another theory says Valka may become a villain in the upcoming film. If she does become a villain, theorists say she might team up with Drago to take down the people of Berk.

With Hiccup being the new chief of his tribe and Hiccup the Alpha dragon, a much bigger conflict and resolution should be expected in the third installment that is expected to hit the big screens sometime in 2018.
