HTC Desire 826 Dual SIM Specs, Release Date: Semi-Flagship Soon to Be Available for $423
In recent reports, HTC is having difficulty penetrating the Chinese market due to the various Android phone makers that are releasing cheaper but similar quality handsets.
And so the Taiwanese manufacturer is looking toward India, the world's second largest smartphone market.
According to a report by GSM Arena, the company has just announced a brand new upper midranger device. Dubbed as the HTC Desire 826 Dual SIM, the smartphone will boast the Desire design, but will have slightly higher specs.
And so, based on this combination of above midrange specs and midrange design, the Desire 826 Dual SIM will reportedly cost $423 or about Rs. 26,900 in India, and it should be available before June ends next week.
In the report, the smartphone will boast some decent features and specs such as 5.5-inch display with a Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, a 2GB RAM, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset that supports 64-bit applications, and a 16GB of built-in memory.
Other specs include a 13MP primary shooter, a 4MP UltraPixel camera in front for selfies, 4G LTE connectivity, a microSD card slot, dual-SIM compatibility, and Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
Completing the features list are the 2,600mAh battery, BoomSound speakers, and Dolby Audio sound effects.
While the HTC Desire 826 Dual SIM offers some solid specs at its price range, there are still cheaper handsets from local Indian brands that have similar, if not better specs.
