HTC One 2 Concept Features Ultra-Slim Bezels and Sleek Design

A new concept image developed for the HTC M8 also known as the HTC One 2 was released this week.

The picture was developed by Austrian designer Nikolai Prettner who combined many of the recent reports with his own ideas of what the company's next-gen flagship should look like.

Prettner's version features ultra-slim bezels that help to maximize the screen-to-footprint ratio. It also has an on-screen navigation bar instead of the capacitive buttons found on the current HTC One.

The back of the handset has the same backing design as the HTC One with the camera being located in the same place with a dual-LED flash. The fingerprint reader can also be spotted underneath the camera module. Prettner chose black for the main color of the HTC M8's frame.

Recent HTC One 2 rumors point to the device featuring dual-rear lenses for its camera.

A recently leaked photo of a case said to be for the back of the device shows two large cut outs that could be used for a lens and something else. One of the holes might be for a fingerprint sensor, however, the company's lack of success with the component on the HTC One Max would make going with something like a dual-lens a better idea.

A new report from Bloomberg backs this notion by citing a person with direct knowledge of the HTC One successor. The publication claims that the new model will debut in March and will come with a twin-rear sensor camera. This will give the camera better focus and depth of field and image quality.

HTC has not confirmed any information on the HTC One successor at this time so all this should be taken with a grain of salt.
