HTC One M9 Specs, Price, Features Review: HTC Unveils New Flagship Phone
HTC has released its latest flagship phone, the HTC One M9, last Sunday, March 1 at MWC 2015 in Barcelona. The phone retains a lot of the design and style of its successful predecessors such as the One M8 and M7, with some welcome upgrades.
The One M9 has an all metal body, just like the One M8, but instead of gentle curves, the phone now has defined edges and flattened sides. It has the same size and 5-inch screen as its predecessor with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 offering a pixel density of 440 pixels per inch. But unlike the M8, the M9 will be available in a range of colors. The edge of the phone will be a slightly different color than the back panel, which will give a slight two-tone effect. The color variations include a gold edge around a silver body, a silver edge around a dark grey body, and a gold body with a black edge.
The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of storage on board which can be expanded up to 128GB with a micro SD card. The M9 arrives with the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC's Sense 7 skin on top.
The back of the phone has a 20MP camera with a dual-LED flash which can record video in 4K resolution. The front camera has a 4MP resolution.
Pricing is currently unavailable at the moment. So far, AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, and T-Mobile have committed to carrying the phone in the United States. In the United Kingdom, the One M9 will be available through Carphone Warehouse, O2, and EE.
