HTC One M9 Release Date, Specs Review: New Flagship Hitting Some Markets Earlier Than Expected
The HTC One M9 has been one of the most eagerly awaited Android smartphones in recent times, and it has finally been launched just days ago.
Based on the Taiwan-based manufacturer's usual schedule, the device should hit stores a month from now, most probably the EU and US.
However, in a recent report, it looks like HTC will be bringing its new flagship to EU markets earlier than usual.
According to a report by GSM Arena, HTC Germany is already accepting pre-orders for the device via the HTC Advantage program.
The program enables buyers to enjoy free night shipping for individual products bought before 14:00h. It also entitles consumers to free returns, repairs and replacements for damaged phones.
For people who are finding it difficult to transfer their files from their former Android phone to the new HTC One M9, free live chat support is also available.
In case you missed the unveiling of the One M9, it is simply an upgrade over last year's model – and that is not easy.
The Android smartphone now has a Snapdragon 810 chipset, 3GB of RAM, and a 32GB built-in memory.
Moreover, the One M9 boasts a 20.7MP primary shooter – the highest quality sensor HTC has ever included in a smartphone.
In front is a 4MP shooter to handle selfies and video calls. Interestingly, the manufacturer opted for a 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution display, and not a QHD or 2K screen. The choice was probably made in order to give the One M9 an advantage when it comes to battery endurance.
Based on reports, the HTC One M9 will hit EU stores, as well as other markets, by the end of the month.
