HTC One ME9 Specs, Release Date: HTC's QHD Phone Will Only Be Available In Few Markets
Many HTC and Android fans were not pleased when the Taiwanese manufacturer opted for a Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution screen for its One M9 flagship instead of the 2K trend.
However, that would definitely change once the One ME9 becomes available in the market.
Unfortunately, for people who are expecting this device to become available worldwide, a new rumor stated that the HTC phone would only be available in a limited number of countries.
According to the report by GSM Arena, a new rumor surfaced claiming that the device will only be available in South Asia, particularly India, while Hong Kong and Taiwan were mentioned and confirmed as well.
The HTC One ME9 is allegedly almost like the One M9+, except that it boasts a polycarbonate back, and a single 20MP Toshiba sensor at the back. There is also a front shooter, though it is still unclear whether it would pack a Duo Camera or a high-resolution 13MP camera.
Aside from the camera features, other rumored specs include a 5.2-inch display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of built-in memory with a microSD card slot, 2,900mAh battery.
Completing the rumored specs list include a MediaTek MT6795 chip, Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, and Sense 7.0.
As for the rumored price tag, the HTC One ME9 will cost about $565 when it becomes available, probably sooner rather than later.
