HTC One X9 Release Date & Specs: High-End Smartphone, To Feature 4 GB of RAM, 23-Megapixel Camera
HTC is hype on releasing new smartphone models and the latest one making its rounds on the Internet is the rumored One X9. According to Tech Times, a recent leak originating from Chinese technology-centric online community Mobile01 and consumer portal Weibo suggested that the Taiwanese company is busy gearing up for the release of the high-end One X9.
Tagged with the model number E56, the handset is said to arrive with either the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset or the deca-core Mediatek Helio X20 SoC. The former has not been launched yet but it's expected to be released on Nov. 11 so it's not impossible for the upcoming smartphone to be powered by it.
Design & Trend reported that the said device will carry 4 GB of RAM along with an internal storage that can either be 64 GB or 128 GB. It is also said that consumers can opt to choose 32 GB only with 3 GB of RAM. A microSD card slot is also available. And since the HTC One X9 is designed to be a flagship smartphone, it boasts a 5-inch Quad HD (2560x1440 pixels) display, as reported by International Business Times.

Another highlighted feature of the smartphone is its primary camera which is said to be a whopping 23-megapixel snapper with autofocus, LED flash and 4K video recording. On the other hand, the front panel will carry a 4-megapixel UltraPixel secondary camera. It is also said to sport 2K display and full-metal body.
It will run with Google's latest OS, Android Marshmallow 6.0, out of the box and will be powered with 3,500 mAh non-removable battery, which is claimed to be thoroughly impressive and long-lasting in regular usage. Moreover, the smartphone is installed with dual HTC BoomSound front speakers. It is expected to be priced at around 2,999 Yuan (approx $472 / Rs. 31,200).
Android Authority noted that a promotional flyer that has been released showed a beautiful background and quote that reads "Packed with city smarts." There are no details yet on what it means but fans can stay tuned for the official details to find out what the HTC One X9 is really all about.
