HTC One X9 Unveiled; Specs Include 3 GB RAM, 13MP Camera, 5.5-Inch Display
HTC has finally unveiled its One X9 smartphone to a bigger audience during the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona. It was first announced in China late last year and though it has not made any big changes with its specs since then, the device's design has made it a headturner even with its mid-range specs.
According to a report by The Verge, the overall look of the HTC One X9 is inspired by the One A9. It comes with an all-metal design with smooth curves. It also flaunts a silky smooth ultra-fine brushed metal back that is soft and glossy. This particular texture makes the handset manageable to grip especially since it sports a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 screen resolution.
There are also four color options that interested consumers can choose from and these are Opal Silver, Topaz Gold, Carbon Gray and Copper Rose. Under the panel, one will find the existence of a 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor paired with 3 GB of RAM. Its internal memory storage capacity is 32 GB which can be expanded further up to 2TB via the microSD card slot.

As for the camera specs, Phone Arena detailed that the One X9 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization and f/2.0 aperture that can shoot RAW photos and 4K videos. On the front is a 5-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.0 lens. The device is also powered with a 3,000mAh non-removable battery with a 5V/1.5A fast-charging feature.
HTC has also incorporated a trio of capacitive buttons and a BoomSound feature with Dolby Audio speakers. No fingerprint scanner in sight but Australia Network noted that it has a Sensor Hub just like the one introduced in the M8.
At present, CNET reported that there is no price detail yet. But based on the pricing in China, the HTC One X9 may cost around $370 when it arrives in North Asia, Europe, Middle East and the rest of Asia.
