HTC U Ultra and U Play Specs, Features: Now Available for UK Pre-Order
Set to be released by March 1, Taiwanese technology company HTC has already made its new HTC U Ultra and HTC U Play available for pre-order in the United Kingdom.
The HTC U Ultra's retail price is pegged at £649 ($811), while the HTC U Play is priced at £399 ($499).
Both devices are part of HTC's new "U Series" and come in four different colors: brilliant black, cosmetic pink, sapphire blue and ice white. The devices were announced in Jan. 12, and will reportedly sport the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

The HTC U Ultra comes in a 64 GB interal storage variant, and a 128 GB variant. It is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 quad-core chipset, with a RAM of 4GB.
The device sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8, with autofocus, optical image stabilization and a dual tone flash. Its front camera, however, boasts of a 16-megapixel capacity and is capable of video recording of up to 1080p.
The HTC U Ultra's battery life is pegged at 312 hours in standby time and 26 hours in talk time. Battery power is at 3,000 mAh and can be charged quickly and efficiently through its Quick Charge 3.0 support. The device also sports a 5.7-inch LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The HTC U Play, on the other hand, also comes in two variants, but the highest is only 64GB in internal memory with 4GB of RAM, while the other one is only 32GB with 3GB of RAM. The device, however, makes up for it with an expandable storage of up to 256GB.
The U Play is powered by a Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 octa-core chipset. Both of its camera (front and rear) snaps at a 16-megapixel capacity which also comes with OIS and a dual tone flash.
The HTC U Play's battery, however, is not as high-powered as the U Ultra. It is only equipped with 2,500 mAh, which offers 15 hours in talk time, but could go up to 427 hours in standby time.
