Huawei Honor V10 Specs, Release Date: New Leak Hints at Flagship-Grade Features for a Smaller Price Tag
Huawei's next mobile offering, the Honor V10, will pack quite a punch that rivals the company's recently announced flagship — the Huawei Mate 10. This is at least what its recent visit to the Chinese certification agency TENAA seems to suggest.
Per its leaked listing, the Huawei Honor V10 will join the bezel-less league and boast a tall display with 18:9 aspect ratio expected to be provided by BOE, a Chinese manufacturer even Apple is thinking of enlisting for its next OLED-oriented mobile ventures.
Smartphone manufacturers are forced to step up their game with the likes of Samsung, LG and Apple shedding the bezels from their handsets for a premium appearance that makes others keeping their forehead, chins and sides chunky and outdated. However, Huawei is serious in making its mark despite the tough competition.

Under the hood, the Huawei Honor V10 apparently houses top of the line processor Kirin 970, which is also found on the Huawei Mate 10 series. It is paired with 6 GB of random-access memory (RAM) and 64 to 128 GB of storage. It will reportedly run Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with EMUI 8.0 for added personal touch.
On the imaging side of things, the handset is allegedly getting a dual camera setup on the back that includes a 16-megapixel (MP) sensor and another 20 MP.
Both will reportedly be Leica branded, but GSM Arena believes that not all components made available in the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro will be included on the setup for the Huawei Honor V10.
That's hardly a deal-breaker especially since it is priced at CNY 3,000, which converts to around $450. This is much cheaper than the Mate 10, which is currently being offered for CNY 3,900.
The Huawei Honor V10 is said to be unveiled on Dec. 5 at an event in London.
