Huawei Mate 10 Lite Specs, Release Date: Leaked Renders Reveal Handset's Bezels, Dual Camera and More

While the Huawei Mate 10 Lite will be the only one in the next-gen Huawei Mate flagship series to come with bezels, its design will not be all too outdated, at least based on the computer-aided design (CAD) renders of the device that found their way to the web.

For the uninitiated, Huawei is preparing a trio of Huawei Mate 10 flagships for next month. The Lite version will come with the smallest price tag, but still packs quite a punch.

The CAD renders show that the Huawei Mate 10 Lite will come with a solid forehead and chin that will look thicker when put side by side its siblings. The bezels on the side will be much thinner though.

The bottom bezel houses the physical home button, in which the fingerprint scanner will be embedded. The standard and Pro versions will have that feature placed on their rear due to their seamless front panels.

The Huawei Mate 10 Lite in the CAD renders comes with a display with a 16:9 screen to body ratio. This means that it will not come with a taller display since this is a perk that only shaved off bezels provide.

Despite this, the handset will still be pretty high-end thanks to the pair of cameras on its back, which are arranged vertically as shown in the leaked images. One will have 12  MP while the other will come with 20 MP.

The Huawei Mate 10 Lite will also be powered by the Kirin 970 processor just like its premium siblings, but it will be accompanied by a lower random-access memory (RAM) of 4 GB.

Users should be able to enjoy all these features for long hours courtesy of the massive 4,000 mAh battery that the device will be shipped with.

The Huawei Mate 10 Lite is expected to be officially unveiled on Oct. 16 along with the Huawei Mate 10 and Huawei Mate 10 Pro.
