Huawei Mate 10 Pro Specs, Release Date: New Leak Shows Off Thinnest Bezels in a Device Yet, Color Variants and More
Only days before its official unveiling, a new leak comes to light making the design of the highly anticipated Huawei Mate 10 Pro no longer a surprise.
The well-known tech insider Evan Blass has provided an image showing the front and back of the device in three color variants.
The most obvious takeaway from this image is the Huawei Mate 10 Pro's ultra-thin forehead and chin and the almost non-existent sides. According to Android Authority, this could be the thinnest they have seen in a device.
This nice touch does the phablet greater favor, thanks to its size — it is expected to come with a 6-inch EntireView display — as it makes it all the more sleeker in look and compact in function.
The screen is said to boast a quad high-definition (HD) pixel resolution and a tall aspect ratio of 18:9, which is becoming the new standard in flagships as a result of shedding the bezels.
On the back of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro — which comes in blue, black and bronze colors — are two Leica cameras arranged vertically with the LED flesh located at their middle right. These components sit on a streak that is lighter than the base colors for distinction.
Reports have it that the Huawei Mate 10 Pro's dual camera setup will be composed of a 12 MP sensor and 20 MP snapper both with an f/1.6 aperture. Just below them is a fingerprint sensor.
Overall, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro looks amazing and one that can definitely take on the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S8, LG V30, Essential Phone and even the iPhone X.
Its premium appearance is paired with a set of impressive specs and features too — such as 6 GB of random-access memory (RAM) Kirin 970 processor and a 4,000 mAh batter — making the device the whole package.
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro will be unveiled on Oct. 16 along with the Huawei Mate 10 and the Huawei Mate 10 Pro Lite.
