Huawei Watch Specs, Release Date: Chinese Brand Launches Smartwatch
Ever since the smartwatch revolution began, the pricing for the mobile device has definitely picked up. LG started the trend last year with the G Watch R, followed by the stylish Moto 360. Then, Apple announced its own Apple Watch that costs almost as much as a smartphone.
Now, it is Huawei's turn to try the smartwatch trend.
According to a report by GSM Arena, the Huawei Watch has just been released, and from the looks of it, it would be available in countries and markets outside of China.
In the report, retailer MobileFun was able to list the prices for the Huawei Watch in the North America, Oceania, and Europe markets.
The smartwatch will come in two versions, one with a leather band, and the other with a metal band. Interestingly, the one with the metal band is cheaper than the other. In the U.S., the Huawei Watch with the metal band costs $387, and is available in black or silver, while the version with the golden leather band is priced at $452.
Meanwhile in the U.K., prices are £300 and £350 respectively. Consumers in Australia would be able to buy the device for AUD 495, and AUD 577.
Unfortunately, while this is certainly something to look forward to for Android fans, there are no shipping details yet coming from either MobileFun neither from Huawei itself.
