"My Fairy" system and other features

In addition to the final roster of characters, the five-minute video also revealed the new "My Fairy" system (3:00 minute mark) that allows players to raise their own fairy. Players can get a fairy by breaking pots in Adventure Mode.

Adventure mode is a new mode and, along with Story mode, was also showed off in the new trailer. It adds the Great Sea, a new map, to the game where players can earn new rewards and costumes.

Going back to the new system, when a player finds a fairy, they can befriend it, feed it in the dining room, and customize its clothes in the salon. Fairies can also go to school and attend parties. Both places allow them to switch or exchange their skills, which will be useful when players take their fairies into battle with them. Each fairy has its own "Fairy Magic" that players can trigger in battle.

"Hyrule Warriors Legends" is a Nintendo 3DS game that releases with all the DLC maps from "Hyrule Warriors." It will arrive in Japan on Jan. 21 and in North America and Europe on March 25.
