Iggy Azalea News: Rapper Wears 'White Chicks' Costume on Halloween After Being Slammed by Snoop Dogg
Last month, Iggy Azalea was involved in a social media feud with Snoop Dogg when he posted an unflattering photo of Azalea captioned, "Iggy Azalea with no makeup."
Things didn't stop there. After a few weeks, Snoop made another dig at the "Fancy" rapper when he made a "White Chicks" reference on Instagram using a split photo of Azalea and Marlon Wayans' character on the 2004 movie with the comment, "so we just gonna ignore the fact that iggy look like marlon from white chicks."
But last Halloween, it appears as though Azalea had the last laugh as she poked fun at herself by dressing up as Wayans' character. She wore a denim skirt, a pink shirt and a denim jacket, and piled on the pale foundation. With the help of a friend, the two closely resembled the characters on the movie about two African-American FBI agents who go undercover as Caucasian heiresses.
Azalea shared a video on Instagram of her and her friend dancing to Vanessa Carlton's "A Thousand Miles" while in costume and also shared some photos of her posing alongside Jennifer Lopez and Demi Lovato. One of the photos was captioned, "Bye haterzzzzz."
Her friend took to Instagram and wrote, "Because the best Halloween costumes are the ones that make you laugh at yourself. Happy Halloween suckers."
Prior to Halloween, the Daily Mail reports that Iggy's mentor and Snoop's good friend, rapper T.I. intervened and talked to both parties. T.I. is the CEO of The Grand Hustle, the label that Azalea is signed to.
In an interview with MTV, T.I said, "I stepped in when it became a public topic of discussion."
T.I.'s intervention worked as Snoop took to Instagram to apologize.
"Boys and girls I just got off the phone with my homeboy T.I. and it's officially over. No more bad talk, I apologize, yeah I apologize I'm sorry I won't do it again," the rapper wrote.
