iHeartRadio Music Festival 2015: Dates, Times: 2014 Recap, 2015 Partial List of Headliners Revealed
The iHeart Radio Music Festival ended with a bang in Las Vegas as the Clear Channel event brought the biggest names to the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sept. 19 and 20. Fans saw Taylor Swift, Zac Brown Band, 5 Seconds of Summer, Lorde, Eric Church, Paramore, Weezer and One Direction headline the show, as well as Usher, Chris Brown, Calvin Harris, 50 Cent, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj.
The iHeart Radio Music Festival Village was also on this year, which saw even more acts. More stages were built at The Lot across the street from Luxor, and the satellite show featured even more performances from Iggy Azalea, Childish Gambino, Fences, Lil John, Kacey Musgraves, Magic, Jake Miller, Neon Trees, Nico & Vinz, The Pretty Reckless, and Meghan Trainor.
In other news, the iHeart Radio Music Festival will be back in Las Vegas next year, and acts will include Maroon 5, Muse, and Bruno Mars. No other acts have been announced at the moment, and tickets for the 2015 festival haven't gone on sale yet.
Prices are expected to be on the same price level as 2014's festival tickets, but there is a big chance that they could be even more expensive by the time the complete list of performers are released.
According to Forbes, secondary market prices were down in comparison to last year's festival which was headlined by Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Paul McCartney and Elton John, and Friday's tickets reportedly cost $766, which was more than 41 percent below last year's price of $1,300.
All proceeds from the festival will go to the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, benefitting youth inspiration through entertainment and education focused initiatives.
