'Inhumans' Casting News: Full Cast of Marvel's TV Show Revealed
The full cast for Marvels "Inhumans" TV series has been announced.
According to a report by Variety, the recent addition of Eme Ikwuakor, Isabelle Cornish, Mike Moh, Sonya Balmores and Ellen Woglom has completed the casting of key roles for the IMAX-produced Marvel series.
"We're thrilled with this cast. Eme, Isabelle, Mike, Sonya and Ellen round out an incredible array of talent that will finally bring the Royal Family of the Inhumans to IMAX and ABC," said Jeph Loeb, executive producer and Marvel's head of television.
"With Eme, Isabelle, Mike, Sonya and Ellen portraying the rest of our leading roles, we have a strong cast that is going to add tremendous depth to our Royal Family," Scott Buck, showrunner and executive producer, added.
Previously confirmed cast members of Marvel's "Inhumans" include Anson Mount, Iwan Rheon, Serinda Swan and Ken Leung.
First introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965, the Inhumans are a race of superhumans with diverse and unique powers. ABC's TV series based on the comic book series will be exploring the never-before-told epic adventure of the powerful royal family, led by their commanding king, Black Bolt.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Black Bolt, the enigmatic and commanding king of the Inhumans who has a very powerful and destructive voice, will be portrayed by Mount. Swan will play the role of Medusa, the queen of the Inhumans and the wife of Black Bolt. Maximus is the brother of Black Bolt and will be portrayed by Rheon. Though he is devoted to the people of Attilan, he desires the throne for himself.
Leung will play the role of Karnak, Black Bolt's cousin and closest adviser. He has the ability to see the fault in all things. Ikwuakor will be Gorgon, another cousin of Black Bolt and the leader of Attilan's military. Crystal, Medusa's sister and an Inhuman who possesses the ability to control the elements, will be portrayed by Cornish.
Moh will portray Triton, another one of Black Bolt's cousin. Auran, the head of the Royal Guards, will be played by Balmores. Woglom's character, on the other hand, has yet to be disclosed. Crystal's 2,000-pound canine companion, Lockjaw, will also appear in the upcoming Marvel TV series.
Marvel's "Inhumans" has no official launch date yet.
