'Injustice 2' Fix Updates: Developer Releases Another Patch to Solve Gear Deletion Problem

NetherRealm Studios has released another patch for its fighting video game, "Injustice 2," following many complaints regarding its last update.

According to Comicbook, although patch 1.11 was supposed to stop the deletion of gears from 1.10 version, things have not been looking much better. Previously, NetherRealm said that players must reboot the game to restore all the lost gears, provided that they were earned before Sept. 25. For those unlocked after the said date, the developer promised that they were looking into it and would address everything soon.

When patch 1.10 came out on Sept. 26, many players complained that it randomly deleted character gears, even premiere skins and those in the Mother Boxes. Screenshots of the problem were posted in "Injustice 2's" main subreddit, showing entire rosters without any gears. NetherRealm quickly responded that they were looking into the matter already and that gamers should expect an update soon. Recently, they posted a note on the company's Twitter account.

"UPDATE – a patch is now available for both PlayStation and Xbox users to address the deletion of Gear. Thank you for your patience!" the developer's announced.

The latest patch, however, fails to satisfy many disgruntled players. Although the developer's description said it will "stop" the deletion of gears, it reportedly does not promise to restore gears that gamers have lost. According to Wccftech, NetherRealm will likely offer compensation to those who will not be able to get their items back.

The players' resentment over the accidental deletion of gears is understandable, considering that they allow users to change character stats. The Gear System of "Injustice 2" was developed to allow customization of characters of the DC universe, so gamers can create their personalized Batman or Wonder Woman. They may also add armors and the like depending on their own preference.

"Injustice 2" is currently playable on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
