'Injustice 2' Nintendo Switch Release Date: How NetherRealms Plans to Bring Game to the Console

In an interview with GameSpot, NetherRealms Studios creative director Ed Boon said that it is possible to bring the game to the Nintendo console but a few concessions have to be made.

He believes that being able to play "Injustice 2" in the Nintendo Switch will offer a fun experience to gamers, explaining that they can do structured tournaments with parallel gameplay in which everyone "comes over with their own system" to play.

However, Boon admits that it will be a real challenge to bring "Injustice 2" on the Nintendo Switch because it has different hardware than the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (PS4), which is why NetherRealms might turn to other studios to get the job done.

At the moment, however, nothing is set in stone yet. "Injustice 2" is currently only available on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC as well as Android and iOS.
