Install Android 4.4.4 KitKat Update Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on Sprint, Available Now

The Android KitKat 4.4.4 update has been slowly rolling out on various Android phones over the past few months, some getting the updates slower than others. Samsung's line of Galaxy phones have been getting the updates one phone at a time and finally, the U.S. carrier Sprint is releasing the update on the Galaxy Note 3.

Pretty soon, the Galaxy Note 3 is going to be the latest phablet Samsung is offering but that doesn't mean it would neglect its need of OS updates.

The update for the tablet was released some days ago and users can finally download the update and install it.

So far, only Sprint has been able to release an update for the Galaxy Note 3, making it the first carrier to release a 4.4.4 KitKat update for the Galaxy Note 3.

It won't be released instantly for all Galaxy Note 3 owners but it will gradually reach all devices in due time.

A changelog has been posted on the carrier's website and lists the update's changes to the device. The update includes HD voice icon support, International Wi-Fi calling support, Google Security patches, Knox 2.0, and Kids Mode.

The Galaxy Note 3 is the latest in Samsung's line of phablet offerings but it might be succeeded by the Galaxy Note 4 coming early 2015.
