International Champions Cup: Chelsea vs Fiorentina, Start Time, Live Stream, Preview

Ahead of their league curtain raisers, Chelsea and Fiorentina meet at Stamford Bridge for the International Champions Cup. The match is on Aug. 5, 2015 at 3 p.m. ET.

Chelsea are preparing to defend their English Premier League title but have to go through the tough Italian outfit before they face Swansea City. Jose Mourinho's men will have the benefit of playing at home so travelling will not be a problem when the league begins as they also host Swansea City in their first league game.

Meanwhile, Fiorentina have to travel back to Firenze after their match against Chelsea as they play AC Milan in their first Serie A match.

It has been a good off-season for the Italians so far, they have only competed in the ICC in the summer and they only lost to Paris Saint-Germain in their first match of the summer. They were able to beat Benfica on a penalty shootout and they recently scored a famous victory over Barcelona in their last match.

A win over Chelsea will give them a big boost ahead of their season as they are able to beat two champions from the top leagues in Europe.

Paulo Sousa will likely field in a young squad for Fiorentina as they try to get match fit for the league so expect Filippo Bernardeschi to play up front, while Marko Bakic and Matias Vecino are likely to get minutes.

On the other side, Chelsea may field in their first team for this match so their stars are loose and ready for their weekend game.

Expect Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao to share minutes throughout the match as Mourinho tries to see who is better suited to play up front while top striker Diego Costa continues to recover from his injury.
