Intex Aqua Super Launched in India, Features 5-Inch Display, 8 MP Camera, 3 GB of RAM, Priced at Rs 10,390
Another device has been launched in India and this time, it's the Intex Aqua Super. According to NDTV Gadgets, the new device from the Indian-based smartphone manufacturer was revealed in November 2015. And since it's classified under the mid-range tier, it's expected to be a smartphone that is affordable with decent specs.
The Indian Express detailed that the latest model of Intex' Aqua series has a 5-inch HD IPS display and a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. Under its hood, it comes with a 1GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6735P processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 16 GB. Tech 2 noted that it can be further expanded up to 128 GB via a microSD card. The device will run with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
In terms of its photo taking feature, the Aqua Super boasts an 8-megapixel rear camera that includes features like auto scene detection, smile detection, self-timer, face beauty, live photo, panorama and face detection. It also comes with LED flash and capable of video recording. Meanwhile, the front panel is rumored to be attached with a 2-megapixel camera.
It's also noted in Softpedia that the device supports dual-SIM and 4G LTE. With regards to its connectivity options, it includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio and GPS with AGPS support. Buyers of the smartphone will find preloaded apps such as Intex Play, Intex Zone, Maxthon, Sashakt, One Drive and a whole lot more. It also features sensors which include Accelerometer, Gyroscope, and Proximity sensor.
It is powered with a 2150 mAh non removable battery and measures 144.00 x 75.30 x 7.65 (height x width x thickness). Interested consumers can purchase the device for only Rs. 10,390, which is equivalent to $155. Those who choose to get the Intex Aqua Super will receive 1-year screen breakage warranty and a complementary bag upon purchase.
