iOS 10.3 Beta 5 Update Latest News: Fifth Beta for Apple's iOS 10.3 Now Available for Developers

Apple has recently released the iOS 10.3 beta 5 for developers for testing on the iPhone, iPad and the iPod touch.

The rollout for the fifth beta of the iOS 10.3 comes just more than a week after the seeding of the iOS 10.3 beta 4, and almost three months after the last major update to the iOS 10 operating system — the iOS 10.2.

According to a report by MacRumors, registered developers will be able to download the iOS 10.3 beta 5 from the Apple Developer Center, but they can also acquire the beta over-the-air with the proper configuration profile installed.

The iOS 10.3 is considered a major update, which will be introducing various new features and changes to the current iOS 10 operating system. One of the biggest features to arrive with the update is the "Find My AirPods" feature, a program designed specifically to help AirPods users to locate their missing Apple earphones. The application records the last known location when a user connected the AirPods to an iOS device via Bluetooth.

The upcoming 10.3 update will also introduce a new Apple File System (APFS), which is optimized for flash or solid state drive (SSD) storage and comes with useful features such as strong encryption.

There are also plans to introduce some improvements to the App Store with the upcoming launch of the iOS 10.3 update. Some of the changes include allowing developers to respond to customer reviews. The update will also introduce a new option to label reviews in the App Store as either "Helpful" or "Not Helpful."

With the forthcoming 10.3 iOS update, Apple will reportedly introduce a limit on the number of times developers can ask for a review regarding their apps. A new planned feature will also allow customers to leave app reviews without having to leave the opened app itself. A "master switch" which allows users to turn off all app review request prompts is also planned to be included in the upcoming iOS update.

The iOS 10.3 beta 5 is also available for public beta testers.
