iOS 10 Jailbreak News: 'There's a Reason' There Is No iOS 10.2 Jailbreak Support for iPhone 7

Jailbreak users are still waiting on Italian developer Luca Todesco for a working iOS 10.2 jailbreak support for the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus, but it looks like it is not coming.

Todesco has emphasized many times now that the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus is unlikely to get the iOS 10.2 jailbreak, which only currently works on older devices.

Just recently, Todesco took to Twitter once again to address questions about the iOS 10.2 jailbreak support for the iPhone 7 devices.

"I find it hilarious that the people that keep asking for i7 10.2 support cannot understand that if it's not supported, there's a reason," he tweeted out.

One user fired back saying that he is just lazy. Todesco retorted, "What is the reason behind you talking about something you do not understand as if you did called?"

When accused in the same Twitter thread that he said in the past that an iOS 10.2 jailbreak for the iPhone 7 will be released by him, he replied, "I absolutely never said that. I said that the underlying kernel bug works. Everything else does."

He also pointed out that coming up with the iOS 10.2 jailbreak for the current-generation iPhone is not all about capabilities. "There are many tradeoffs involved," he noted.

Todesco has also been vocal about the iOS 10.2 jailbreak released for last-gen devices being the last jailbreak software he will release to the public.

This is the first time that the developer rolled out a jailbreak software to the public as he always shied away from doing so in previous versions of Apple's firmware.

At the moment, the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus only have the iOS 10 and 10.1 jailbreak support from Todesco's Yalu software, which is still in beta stage.

It does not look like he will release the iOS 10.2 jailbreak for the iPhone 7 although it appears that he has made attempts to do so.
