The coming of the iOS 10 and the Android Nougat Beta announces the long-standing rivalry of both mobile operating systems.
Google's Android Nougat Beta and Apple's iOS 10 are not yet released but fans and critics have been pitting them again each other. Both updates will be released later this year and may more or less come at the same time with the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Pro and HTC Nexus Salilfish and HTC Nexus Marlin.

The Android and iOS rivalry has panned out over the years and that is why at this point, the two operating systems have similarities borrowed from one another.
Siri, the open voice digital assistant from Apple is now able to cater to third party developers. This means that Siri can access other apps that are not made by Apple. According to Android Pit, Siri can now call for popular mobile appls including Slack, WhatsApp, Uber, Lyft, WeChat, make payments and more.
As for the Google Now, Apple's Siri is ahead of the game as it doesn't offer this kind of service in the mean time.

Android Nougat has made a big move by redesigning the way users receive their notifications. It seems they are practicing Apple's minimalistic way by making them easier to read, have smaller fonts and having the capability to be grouped by apps, Know Your Mobile reported.
For iOS 10, there will be widgets in the home screen, a feature similar to Android. It seems the widgets can be organized and accessed via the 3D Touch feature.

In iOS 10, Apple users will now be able to search their photos by using people, objects and places. The latest update will be able to identify the elements in the photo and when the user searches for the keywords, the results will be grouped using the entered parameters. Slideshows of videos and pictures will be made automatically as well.
In terms of music, the iOS 10 brings a cleaner and neater interface to encourage people to use the Apple Music streaming, Mobile N Apps noted.
For the Android Nougat, the Photo apps feature is not new as searching feature has already been in place for many months. For Android Nougat's music, they are less strict when it comes to having music. The Play Music allows users to stream music or play downloaded songs regardless if it is legally bought or not.
