iOS 6.1.3 Update With Lock Screen Flaw Fix Issued by Apple
The iOS 6.1.3 update which features a lock screen flaw fix was rolled out by Apple earlier this week.
This bug could allow someone to bypass the passcode and access the Phone app. The update also brings significant improvements to Maps in Japan. It is available OTA (over-the-air).
The iOS 6.1 untethered jailbreak that rolled out recently was disabled by this same update when it was released to developers.

This iOS 6.1.3 update was seeded in beta form to developers last month and it officially prevents users from using the recent evasi0n jailbreak for the iPhone 5.
David Wang is part of the group who created this jailbreak known as the evad3ers. He recently confirmed to Forbes that one of the five exploits they used for the hack has been repaired by Apple in iOS 6.1.3.
"Wang tells me that he's analyzed the 6.1.3 beta 2 update and found that it patches at least one of the five bugs the jailbreak exploits, namely a flaw in the operating system's time zone settings," read the report. "The beta update likely signals the end of using evasi0n to hack new or updated devices after the update is released to users," according to Wang.
Wang is also still testing the new patch to see if any other vulnerabilities exploited by the jailbreak have been repaired.
The evasi0n jailbreak was downloaded 7 million times in the four days following its release. Apple bounced back slowly from the jailbreak as it took some time to find ways to disable it with a software patch.
Wang stated that the evad3rs have found additional bugs in iOS to exploit. This could lead to another jailbreak being released somewhere down the line.
