iOS 7.1 Release Date to Be in March
The iOS 7.1 release date is now rumored to be in March.
A new report from 9to5Mac claims that Apple will roll out the update to all users next month. This will be the first major revision made to the software since its initial launch in September of 2013.
"While recent reports are pegging a launch sooner than later, reliable sources say that Apple is currently planning to ship iOS 7.1, the first significant update to iOS 7, in March," wrote the site. "The iOS 7.1 update is said to not have any 'secret features,' and it will basically be what we have been told to expect by the past five betas."

This basically includes some user-interface tweaks in the Phone app, an improved Calendar app, speed improvements, and numerous bug-fixes.
BGR reported in Dec. that Apple was planning to roll out the new software in March of this year. However, a follow up to that article claimed that the update would be released in the coming weeks. The increments of the build numbers on the developer beta versions have been slowing which indicates that the software is nearing a public launch. However, that date could fall in Feb. or March based on that information.
Some of the iOS 7.1 betas have included improvements such as a new "Button Shapes" option in Accessibility, keyword tweaks that indicate shift and caps locks, a new event list view with Calendar app and refined icons for the Phone, FaceTime, and Messages app.
The iOS in the Car feature is also expected to make an appearance with the update as it has come with a few of the betas. However, it is unclear if it will make it to the final version of iOS 7.1 at this time.
