iOS 9 Jailbreak News: No Working Jailbreak For iOS 9.1 Yet
Much to the dismay of those who have already upgraded their iOS devices to iOS 9.1, there is no working jailbreak available for the latest iOS update yet. According to International Business Times UK, the latest jailbreak version that Pangu has released is version 1.2 and it only works with iOS 9.0 up to 9.0.2 only.
The Chinese group Pangu is known for developing jailbreaks for iOS devices. Version 1.2 is the third iteration of their jailbreak since they released the first one a few weeks ago. This version fixes several issues that users encountered with the previous versions. Among these include the fix for the Manage Storage bug and the latest version upgrade to Cydia Installer which fixes the failed to open URL issue in Safari.
Aside from this, Pangu has also released a new update of Cydia which is for the Pangu 9.0.x untether package. A complete changelog for the newest version is available on the Pangu website.

Since the jailbreak only works for iOS 9.0 to 9.0.2, users who want to jailbreak their devices but have already updated to iOS 9.1 need to downgrade their devices to 9.0.2 first. This, however, may become problematic if Apple will stop signing iOS 9.0.2 and therefore make it impossible to downgrade. Thus, iOS users are told to hold off on upgrading until a jailbreak for 9.1 is available.
Version 1.2 is recommended for users who were not able to successfully jailbreak using the previous versions. The first step is to download the Pangu9 Vers. 1.2.0 for Windows only as a Mac OS X version is not yet available. Mac users therefore need to use what is called the Windows Virtual Machine.
Those who were successful in jailbreaking already can still upgrade to the Pangu untether package through Cydia, without re-jailbreaking the device. This can be done by launching Cydia, clicking on the Changes tab, and refreshing the updates.
