iPhone 5 Release Date: iPhone 4S Review - As Powerful as a Computer With 512MB Memory

Buzz about the iPhone 4S is slowly increasing as developers begin to reveal their sneak-peaks of the soon to be released Apple smartphone.

Donald Mustard, creative director of Chair Entertainment, developer of the video game Infinity Blade, has had a chance to preview the iPhone 4S and detailed his rave review to tech website Eurogamer.

"As we've been working with Apple the last few weeks I've had the opportunity to use the iPhone 4S quite a bit and, man, it's awesome. That A5 chip is pretty incredible. Having that much power in a device that small - really, there's a lot we can do with it," Mustard told Eurogamer.

"I'm still shocked that, with the iPhone 4S, I'm literally running around with a 1080p video camera in my pocket, with an eight megapixel camera, 64GB of hard drive space and an A5 chip with 512MB of memory. This is a really powerful computer, right?”

A memory of 512MB is featured on highest end Apple MacBook Pro notebooks.

Commentators had their reservations that Mustard's report of 512MB of memory in the iPhone 4S was accurate, however similar reports from sources such as AppVV and Weibo have given them more confidence.

AppVV recently released a video detailing hands on specs of the iPhone 4S, leading commentators to believe that the reports are true.

The popularity of the iPhone 4S was initially put into question after its Oct. 4 unveiling, as many who were anticipating the iPhone 5 were considering the 4S simply an upgrade of the iPhone 4.

However, customers are still interested in buying the iPhone 4S smartphone as it sold over 1 million pre-orders in 24-hours and quickly sold out of pre-orders on all U.S. carriers.

The iPhone 4S will be available for purchase and shipping on Oct. 14.
