iPhone 6 Plus Pre-Orders on Apple, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile

The iPhone 6 Sept. 9 launch has been a success and the highly-anticipated smartphone will be available to retail on Sept. 19 with pre-orders opening on Sept. 12.

Two size variants of the iPhone 6, the 4.7-inch and the 5.5-inch, will both be made available on those dates. The 5.5-inch variant has been dubbed the iPhone 6 Plus. Both size variants will be sporting the same specs – a 64-bit A8 chipset, Retina Display, improved graphics, and an NFC chip which would allow users to use the iPhone 6 to make payments.

Apple themselves will be accepting pre-orders as well as other U.S. wireless carriers. It is expected that the release of the iPhone 6 will cause inevitably long lines with retailers and with the Apple stores themselves so it might be a better option to pre-order instead.

For Apple, its retail stores are scheduled to open at 8 a.m. EST on Sept. 19. Pre-orders will open at Apple's online store on Sept. 12.

Verizon is to open a promotion where owners can trade in their old iPhones for a discount with the 16GB iPhone 6. The carrier is accepting the iPhone 4, iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, and iPhone 5S for trade considering that the device is in good, working condition.

Sprint on the other hand is offering a "iPhone for Life Plan," where users can "lease" the phone from sprint for a starting $20 a month with a $50 unlimited data plan. The iPhone 6 4.7-inch variant comes at $20 a month while the iPhone Plus comes in at $25 a month.

Aside from the "iPhone for Life Plan," Sprint also offers the standard two-year contract with the iPhone 6. $199 for the smaller iPhone and $299 for the iPhone Plus.

AT&T has created a landing page for the iPhone 6 and pre-orders will probably made here. Still, the carrier has not announced any pricing lists for either of the variants.

T-Mobile is also offering the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in all variants, starting at $0 down and $27 per month installments. For the most expensive version - the iPhone 6 Plus with 128GB - there is a $199 downpayment required and $31 per month across 24 months.
