If the rumors reported by 9 to 5 Mac are to be believed, the iPhone 6c could be officially launched together with the Apple Watch 2 during the company's event in March next year, according to Expert Reviews.
The Apple iPhone 6c is designed for the group of consumers who are not really into big smartphones. Some of its speculated specs include an A9 processor, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 1.2-megapixel front camera, Christian Today (CT) reports.

As for the general appearance of the iPhone 6c, there are reports saying Apple will veer away from its usual metal casing in favor of high-quality plastic casing for the smaller iPhone. If this proves to be true, then the smartphone could come in several color options. It may take inspiration from the iPhone 5c and follow its shape and size, the report speculates.
The 4-inch screen of the iPhone 6c is expected to have 1136 x 640 pixel resolution with a pixel density of 326ppi. The 3D Touch display feature is out of the question because it would only serve to rack up the price of the smartphone and take up additional space, the report details.
While the iPhone 6c is not expected to have the same popularity or sales record as the tech giant's flagship smartphones, it will give Apple something to offer to the group of consumers who can only shell out a limited amount for a phone. As of now, Apple still has not confirmed the pricing details for the iPhone 6c. However, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo speculates that the smaller smartphone could cost $400 to $500.
