iPhone 6S News: Force Touch, New Shift Key, iO9 Enhancements (VIDEO)
News has emerged Apple is reportedly including Force touch and a new shift key to the upcoming iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.
Apples' next generation smartphone is said to feature the Force Touch technology the Apple Watch now carries, as well as a trackpad and a shift key.
While there have been some user reactions in the manner Force Touch has led to some confusion when pressing harder causes some unforeseen actions, 9to5 Mac has written Force Touch on the iPhone 6S has been specifically designed for smartphone "power users," and would not necessarily be a requirement to get the 6S to work properly.

The Verge has reported Apple is doing a redesign of its iOS and some of its own applications for the iPhone S6's Force Touch. There may be the absence of app buttons that are likely to be hidden away in Force Touch's menu, as well, 9to5 Mac has said.
One is example is using Force Touch on a word to look up its definition, instead of the longer process of having to highlight the word and locate the define button.
The iOS 8 shift key and keyboard will also receive some tweaking to focus more on the 6S Plus' landscape mode in iOS 9, and to make it easier for users to access the QuickType feature on the keyboard.
Some of the iOS 9 planned enhancements will incorporate split-screen apps, a redesigned Home app with HomeKit control, a Mass app transit directions service, and other security features.
Users may also expect additional changes to include group message read receipts, and controlling which contacts have access to read receipts, as well as an enhanced iMessage and Apple Pay.
Apple is set to reveal these changes in detail during the Worldwide Developers Conference in June 8.
