'Iron Man 4' in Production, But Will Tony Stark Find New Love Interest?

Director Shane Black confirmed that "Iron Man 4" is now in development, but Robert Downey Jr.'s participation is still unsure because his contract is still being negotiated. Regardless of the outcome of the negotiations, the fourth installment of the movie is bound to be an exciting one because it features a new character that may become Tony Stark's new love interest, according to CrossMap.
Writer Brian Michael Bendis is cooperating with Alex Maleev to come up with the story for Iron Man's comic book universe, which will come out in 2016. Bendis is currently looking to insert Mary Jane Watson from "Spider-Man" in "The Invincible Iron Man" prompting fans to speculate about her real role in Stark's world.

In an interview with Marvel, Bendis said Watson and Stark already know each other in the story and that she is a former resident of Avengers Tower. While he chose to reveal more details on the two characters' connection, he said it will be something new for both of them.
"But that's all I'm going to say for now because what kind of relationship they end up having is a big part of what I would like people to buy the book for," CrossMap quotes Bendis' statement to Marvel.
Meanwhile, rumor has it that Ty Simpkins will appear as a major character in "Iron Man 4," but this has not yet been confirmed. There are reports saying a younger Iron Man will be featured in the movie, and crazy twists will also be incorporated in the plot, Master Herald reports.
There are conflicting reports about the release date of "Iron Man 4," with some speculating that the film will be released in 2019 because of Marvel's hectic schedule. More details about the movie are expected to surface once the release window nears.
Mary Jane Watson will appear in "The Invincible Iron Man" this December. "International Iron Man" will be out in 2016.
