Is Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Coming at the End of July?
The next generation phablet of Samsung may be coming earlier than expected. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 may be released by the end of July.
It was earlier reported that the Korean company may be waiting for the IFA Conference in Berlin in September to release its latest flagship. The Galaxy Note 4 was released during IFA 2014.
The reason cited for the bump up in the phone's release schedule is because the company is said to have "accelerated the release plan for the device for the prototype of the Galaxy Note 5 to be completed by the middle of June," WhoWired reported. During this time, Samsung will allegedly confirm the final specifications of the prototype, for its showcasing to its telecommunications partner companies. These companies will in turn pre-order units of the new device, in time for its release by the end of July.

Samsung has long been predictable in its announcement cycle, with the IFA trade event being the usual venue for it to unveil its Galaxy Note models since 2011. It is usually done during a media event one day before the start of the trade fair. In the case of the Note 5, its release is said to have been expedited because the device's development was "faster than expected."
There may another reason why Samsung is opting for an earlier than usual release. This may have to do with the company's positive media coverage because of its recent flagship phone releases, namely the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Both phones have been the only major competition of Apple's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
The Note 5 may also sport a new pay system that Samsung developed to compete with Apple Pay system. Called Samsung Pay, it is said to be released by the end of July, which may mean the new Note 5 will carry this new mobile payment app.
