'iZombie' Season 2 Episode 4 Spoilers: Liv Goes Country Singing

After embodying a fashion-obsessed, lady-like personality of a dead rich housewife in the previous episode of The CW's hit supernatural drama TV series "iZombie" Season 2 titled "Real Dead Housewife of Seattle," Liv Moore will take in yet another persona which interestingly gives her some musical and singing skills.

Titled "Even Cowgirls Get The Black and Blues," the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic said that the undead heroine will eat the brain of a country-singing waitress.

The promo trailer for the episode (check below) finds the blonde detective and her sidekick investigating a crime scene where a woman was found lying dead in her bed.

Based on the things she found in the room like the pictures of "Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, and Dolly Parton" hanging on the walls, Liz deduced that the victim was a "little bit country."

Hilarity ensues when the clip further showed Liv, who is now sporting a denim jacket which is so characteristic for most country singers, trying her hands on the guitar.

Fans might also finally be able to hear the character hitting a song or two as the teaser also featured her singing on stage. However, by the looks of it and as further suggested by the boos of the crowd, it might not be that pleasant to the ear.

In her interview with the people from ComicBook.com, Rose McIver, who plays the part of Liv, revealed that shooting the episode "was cool" but she admits, "it's a little nerve-wracking singing" as her role required.

"There's something about the vulnerability of when you're actually singing and then putting on a character, and mashing those two was unusual for me," she told the media outlet.

Also in the episode, the summary indicates that Detective Babineaux will meet a female FBI agent who will be working out of their offices. Blaine, on his part, will try to entice a former business associate to return to the dark side. The returning Peyton, on the other hand, has been giving Ravi the headache lately while Major continues to go down with his utopium addiction.

"iZombie" Season 2 airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. on The CW.
