The CW's hit police-procedural comedy TV series "iZombie" Season 2 returns this week with a brand new episode that is set to feature its protagonist getting into a gambling mood. Meanwhile, a major secret is about to be discovered.
The report from ComicBook.com shares the synopsis for the episode titled "Max Wager." The details indicate that Liv will unsuspectingly cross paths with one of Seattle's most dangerous men as she and partner, Detective Clive Babineaux, work on a murder case involving gambling. The murder victim turns out to be a degenerate gambler named Harry.
The promo video for the episode seems to suggest that the medical examiner-turned-zombie may have to, like she always does in her cases, ingest the brain of the deceased gambler. And as expected, she begins to show a quite surprising habit of betting. Aside from being too engrossed in a horse race, Liv further surprises her colleague when she even places a wager on whether or not Det. Babineaux will be able to shoot the trash into the waste basket.

"10 bucks says you miss," she said to the detective who seems to wonder what is going on in her mind this time around.
The summary from Comic Book also hinted some noteworthy moments with the uptight detective. As the site stated, Det. Babineaux will have a "super-fan moment" when he and Liv ask an NBA Hall of Famer who attended Harry's funeral some questions.
In other developments, Blaine's father is said to discover something huge in the upcoming episode while Liv's lab partner, Ravi, delivers some "bad news." Could this be in relation to what Liv has feared the most - that she may turn Major into someone like her?
"We don't know a lot about the sexual transmission of 'zombieism,'" Ravi can be heard saying in the teaser clip.
