'iZombie' Season 3 News: Casting and Release News

Even though the second season of "iZombie" had just ended, there are already details concerning the third season of the hit series.

Fans were happy with the explosive finale of season 2 when an outbreak of zombies was revealed. It was stated that this was the first time the series presented an outbreak, making it one of the show's milestones. Aside from the horde of zombies, there is also a lot of question regarding what Clive will present when the series returns.

The most recent season opened up opportunities for Clive's development. With that, there is a chance that fans will get to know more about the mysterious character. Fans are also wondering about where the next season will head, in terms of Blaine's character development.

While he remains a major character, there has been a lot of criticism regarding Blaine's amnesia. Because of this, fans hope that Blaine will gain back his pleasing personality. While there has yet to be any official announcement regarding "iZombie" Season 3, the executive producer of the series, Robert Buckley was able to share some hints about the upcoming season. He teased the possibility of one of the characters' absence for the season to come.

According to Showbiz Junkies, he said,"We're getting a little 'Game of Thrones'-y here," Buckley said when asked how safe every character is in next week's season finale. "You know, I probably shouldn't say it but at least one player in this is not going to make it out of season two. That's about as much as I [can say]. I'm not going to say which group I'm referring to, but someone in the mix is going down."

In the meantime, there has yet to be any news regarding the release date of the season.
